enxergando a realidade
onde a crise climática
não é um futuro distante,
mas um presente real

A growing threat:
AMAZON COMMUNITIES, WHICH HAVE LIVED IN HARMONY WITH THE FOREST FOR CENTURIES, NOW STRUGGLE WITH THE DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES OF THE CLIMATE CRISIS
Due to current extreme weather events, their food, water and cultural security is threatened. Without immediate action, we risk losing not only an irreplaceable ecosystem, but also the cultures and lives that flourish within it.
Our commitment

Climate justice in practice
More than simple support — we are partners in the creation and implementation of short, medium and long-term solutions to build autonomy and climate resilience throughout the Amazon, community by community, prioritizing action that is based on the wisdom and protagonism of community leaders.
We offer the necessary resources and support so that these communities can act to ensure their well-being, conserve the forest and face the challenges of climate change head-on.

We are a tapestry that weaves together local communities, global organizations, conservation, and regeneration, recognizing that the Amazon is made up of people whose well-being is as essential as the standing forest.
A simple but powerful proposal:
We believe that actions speak louder than words. We strive to enable communities to find and implement practical solutions to their priority demands - based on the combination of traditional wisdom with scientific knowledge.
Resilient infrastructures and access to basic resources
Strengthened leadership for mobilization and advocacy
Relevant information, education and connectivity
Our work is guided by those who matter most:
people from the communities

A process that starts from within, listening to needs, respecting the local context and collectively creating concrete opportunities, ensuring that solutions are adapted to social and natural contexts.

"Everything has changed - the dry season on the rivers has become increasingly difficult, we need new ways of accessing water, food and transport."
Mr. Raimundo - President of the Tuiué Community

"I worry about my colleagues, who, when they don't have opportunities, get involved in the wrong paths."
Edinalva, young man from the former Arumã Community

"In small communities like ours, we feel invisible - to get any benefit from public authorities, we have to organize ourselves and go after it!"
Dona Terezinha - leader of the São Pedro community

"Having quality information in schools is important for communities to better understand what is happening and take better care of the rivers and forest."
Professor Jeremias - Beruri municipal network
